Hamilton police have arrested two people in connection to the shooting death of James Bajkor.
28-year-old Christopher Newton and a 16-year-old boy were both arrested without incident yesterday afternoon in the Tisdale and Main Street area.
They have been charged with second degree murder and attempted murder and will be in court today.
Detective Sergeant Matt Kavanagh says the arrests come after investigators were able to get a complete statement from the man who survived Monday's shooting on Milton Avenue.
The 34-year-old has been released from hospital and is with his family.
Kavanagh says he's expected to recover but will likely undergo future therapy and medical treatments.
Police are still looking for 19-year-old Shaquille Collins, who is considered armed and dangerous.
He's believed to be the final piece in this puzzle and police are not looking for anyone else.
