An Oakville man has been arrested for a series of historical sexual assaults dating back more than 30 years.
Halton police say between January 1980 and December 1982 an 11-year-old boy worked for the accused, performing manual labour at a barn located on Dundas Street in Oakville.
It's alleged on three separate occasions the 11 year old was indecently assaulted while at the barn.
Police say a second victim, a 13 year old boy, was also sexually assaulted on three occassions between January 1984 and December 1985 while he worked with the accused at a steam cleaning company.
54 year old Manuel Tavares of Oakville is charged with indecent assault on a male and sexual assault. It's believed there may be other victims associated with the accused. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
