A 34 year old veteran of Toronto's police service has been tabbed as Niagara's next police chief.
Jeffrey McGuire is currently an acting deputy chief in Canada's largest city with experience in traffic services, divisional policing, combined forces special enforcement and homicide.
He's been named by Niagara's Police Services Board to replace Wendy Southall who retired this spring.
McGuire takes charge on June.18th.
