While the Canadian Mint has discontinued the penny, Hamilton's Bob Kemp Hospice wants them.
The Hospice wants your coppers for a Pennies for Power campaign.
The plan is to collect enough to pay for an emergency generator for the pallitiative care facility.
Pennies can be dropped off at the hospice, and rolled pennies can be dropped of at any R-B-C in the Greater Hamilton area.
The goal is 50-thousand dollars.
