Cathedral High School has announced plans to celebrate a "century of excellence".
Thousands are expected to gather on the final weekend of this coming September for a reunion marking 100 years of Catholic secondary education in Hamilton.
Helping to launch the celebrations were a number of high-profile graduates of Cathedral, including musicians Tomi Swick and Brian Melo, Tiger Cat reciever Dave Stala and former Ti-Cat quarterback Frank Cosentino.
Cathedral's history dates back to 1912 when separate classes were offered to boys and girls at St. Mary's school on Mulberry Street.
Plans for the reunion weekend include a Cathedral football game, a pub night, school tours and an dinner of socializing and dancing to period music.
