The public school board has finalized the closures of three lower city high schools.
It means the days are numbered for Delta, Parkview and Sir. John A. MacDonald.
The plan is to build a new 41.5 million dollar high school to replace the three and merge the student bodies.
Closing Delta, Parkview and Sir John A. MacDonald will help the board reduce its overall operational costs, which is essential in the wake of the province’s decision to slash funding for underutilized schools.
