The Major Fraud unit is investigating after a man was arrested at an electronics store.
Saturday afternoon, police say a man tried to buy a computer with a fraudulent credit card at the Future Shop at Barton and Centennial.
Officers searched the man at the scene and found additional credit cards.
Immigration Canada was called due to concern over his identity.
42-year-old Taiwo Faniyi of Hamilton is charged with fraudulent use of credit card data and possession of fraudulent credit card data.
