It's official -- Nik Wallenda will tightrope walk across Niagara Falls June 15th at 9pm.
Wallenda says he's honoured and says the whole thing feels very surreal at the moment.
The 550 meter walk -- across a cable about 5 centimeters in diameter -- is expected to take 30-40 minutes.
The 33-year-old seventh generation member of the Flying Wallendas Family admits he's done longer and higher walks -- but says nothing will ever compare his upcoming crossing of the Falls.
That's saying something -- considering he's got permits to walk across the Grand Canyon.
Wallenda will be training and rehearsing for the stunt at the Seneca-Niagara Casino starting May 12th.
About 120-thousand people are expected to turn out to watch the attempted crossing.
