US Steel Canada has come up big with the largest ever donation toward a single project at Mission Services.
The 200-thousand dollar investment will support the Mission's new Caring, Healing and Learning Community Opportunity Centre.
It's located at 196 Wentworth Street North and will provide life transforming programs and services to residents, designed to help break the cycle of poverty.
The new iconic learning centre will teach entry level job skills that people can put on resumes.
The investment by US Steel Canada comes on the heels of a 500-thousand dollar investment in Mohawk College in April.
