The 2.5 million dollar civil case against Hamilton Police lodged by a man injured in a drug raid gone wrong, is over.
However, we can't tell you why.
What we can tell you is the judge has dismissed the lawsuit at the request of the plaintiffs, Po La Hay and his family.
Court documents show the lawsuit was dismissed -- without costs -- last month.
Hamilton Police will only say the suit was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
The 59 year old Myanmar refugee suffered broken bones and a gashed head when a police tactical unit burst into his Sanford Avenue North apartment two years ago looking for a drug dealer.
That suspect was actually living next door.
