The future operation of Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place and the Hamilton Convention Centre returns to the discussion table at city hall Friday.
Hamilton politicians are being asked to negotiate a deal with one of two entertainment giants Global Spectrum/Live Nation or SMG/Forum Equity who are interested in managing the three HECFI facilities.
Councillors could also opt to work with a number of local bidders who've show interest in some but not all of the venues.
Councillor Sam Merulla looks forward to moving forward and reducing the cost to taxpayers.
The review of HECFI's operations was prompted by a two million dollar unbudgetted loss in 2010, which brought the total taxpayer subsidy to 6.5-million dollars.
