Ontario's NDP Leader says her party will not force the government to fall during tomorrow's budget vote.
Andrea Horwath has voiced that assurance after Premier Dalton McGuinty made a key concession to the New Democrats in order to garner its support.
The Premier has agreed to the NDP's demand for a 2% surtax on those earning more than half--a-million dollars a year.
The 470 million dollars generated by the surtax would go into reducing Ontario's deficit. McGuinty adds that the tax will end once the budget is balanced in five years.
McGuinty also agreed to increasing welfare by one per cent and creating a $20-million transition fund to help rural and northern hospitals.
