The pilot episode for a new television drama will be partially filmed in Hamilton this weekend.
"Rewind" is being made by NBC/Universal, set in both present-day and 1929, and it involves a group of military scientists who hope to undo a nuclear explosion through time travel.
The filming of exterior scenes will mean closing the intersection of Main and James from 6 o'clock on Sunday morning until 10 o'clock Sunday night.
More specifically, Main Street West will be closed from MacNab to Hughson and James Street will close from Jackson to King Street East. HSR busses will be detoured around the affected area.
The series itself will be set in New York and is being created for airing on the SyFy network.
