Oakville is trying to battle a coyote problem with a new and tough bylaw against feeding them.
It includes a 5-thousand dollar fine for feeding them on public land and about 5-hundred for feeding them on private property.
It goes even further by extending the offence for feeding coyotes on public land to include unintentional feeding by littering.
Ministry of Natural Resources Biologist John Pipasio says in every single incident investigated by the ministry where a coyote became aggressive to humans, there was intentional feeding.
