A Burlington landscaper has been fined 55-thousand dollars for violating Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
Provincial Offences Court in Burlington heard complaints from two customers about Elements Stone and Paving.
The customers say they made deposits and requested refunds when no materials were delivered to their homes and no work was conducted on their projects.
No refunds were provided to either consumer.
The Court found Elements Stone and Paving and its director guilty of engaging in an unfair practice, failing to refund and failing to provide agreements.
