Primeau & Grose: Behind the Scenes

Andrew and I are still for sale and tonight at 7pm the Christmas Charity Auction shuts down. We currently sit at $1400 and while that sounds like a lot for us, it’s not nearly enough for Elizabeth at Elizabethan Catering.  Trust me she is going to put on a feast second to none.

All the media folk in town who are participating are doing so for one simple reason, charity. This is the time of year we all come together to do what we can for those less fortunate. We are in the media section and while we are normally seriously competitive with each other at this time of year we just want to help.  Media folk are actually good hearted souls who spear head a huge number of fundraising initiatives. For the most part they are work, take time and can very often be hugely emotionally draining. We do it because we know people are listening and that gives us a unique venue in which to bring the plight of others forward.

Andrew and I want to have the highest bid, we are that competitive. But if our competitive streak inspires others to spend a little more for their favourite radio personality like BRUCE BOWIE, then so be it.
