Primeau & Grose: Behind the Scenes

Once again Primeau has chosen a topic for today that's going to throw us into the fire... or maybe a lake of lava. "Transgender surgery and the Alberta Government." OMG... there is no hope what-so-ever that this will go well. I predict Primeau will lose her mind on at least one caller, she'll rant out of control on a Facebook post, and she'll upset thousands of listeners. That's not a bad thing. Primeau's out of control live radio rants have gone a long way to making our show as popular as it is. It can be stressful though especially when I'm the target of that aggression.

Here's the one saving grace for me. We actually agree on this topic but for very very different reasons. That will mean, at least, that Primeau and I will not be yelling at each other today. It's still possible but not guaranteed. That may make for less entertaining radio but it'll save me a huge headache on my drive down to Calgary at 5:30.

Primeau knows this will be a hot topic. She knows people won't agree with her. She likely assumed I would oppose her view but none of that matters to her and nor should it. Primeau loves to stir it up and she's never afraid to be on the minority side of an argument. It's a big part of what I love about her. That and the fact she often makes me look smarter than I actually am.
