Primeau & Grose: Behind the Scenes

While I've run the show before and been responsible for all those buttons on the board I rarely get to do it when Primeau is in the studio. We decided this week to start sharing the board and the topics for the show. Since there's an odd number of days in the week one of us had to get 2 days and the other 3 and I volunteered to take the short stick. Tuesdays and Thursdays are mine.  This should help keep peace since Primeau and I rarely agree on topics so now we  just have to learn to live with the other's choice. That should be easy for me since I've basically been doing that already for nearly 2 years anyway.  I suspect I'll lean towards slice of life topics and Primeau will take on whoever she's in the mood to take on; although the smart money's on Government and police.

It's funny that, after 2 years, we're still finding our way with this show. I think this will help add variety to what we talk about and failing that I'll at least get better at the board. I've learned the one thing you never want to do in Primeau's presence is push the wrong button. I'm sure she'll watch my every move twice a week just waiting for me to mess up. In fairness, it entertains the heck out of me when she does. I'm still laughing about the time she accidentally blared Ällouette across the airwaves. The look of total confusion on her face sent me into a laughing fit that took nearly a whole show to recover from.

I welcome the challenge of running a show with Primeau taking the co-hosting role. As they say... a change is as good as a rest.
