Primeau & Grose: Behind the Scenes

Not sure why this bothers me so much but it does. Primeau refuses to use capital letters on Facebook posts but over uses exclamation points and question marks. It drives me nuts. I know I’ve mentioned it to her on and off the air so I’m starting to think she does it now just to annoy me. That’s fair, I guess, I do plenty to annoy her. I would have ended that sentence with “!!!!!" just to take a poke at Primeau but I’m guessing she wouldn’t see what was wrong with that. I do know that she reads this blog and occasionally points out a spelling error. I guess that’s a greater offense than no capitals or proper punctuation. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a terrible speller. Spellcheck saved my life. Had it been available in high school I’d have probably gotten a better mark in English.

Given our personalities I’m surprised this is the first issue either of us has taken a stand on. People keep describing us as having “chemistry” which is odd to me because I think we’re like oil and water but I suppose that too is a type of chemistry. I assume by “chemistry” people are not using the term as I would to describe my relationship with my wife or kids. We have chemistry and rarely scream at each other. Maybe it means chemistry like the chemistry that creates an explosive device when combined. Then I would agree we have chemistry.

Today we sat across from each other saying nothing before the show began. I know why. It’s one of those topics we completely disagree on. For those shows I rely on a different kind of chemistry. Asprin.
