Primeau & Grose: Behind the Scenes

I love talking parenting. I often tell people that, of all the jobs I do, I'm proudest of being a parent. I like talking about parenting too because I have some very strong opinions on the topic and, while no one's an expert, I am the father of 4 and I feel like I've seen it all. It definitely falls in my wheel house and while I don't have all the answers I have lots of experience and lots of stories. When Morley's filling in for Primeau I like to talk kids because Morley, like me and unlike J'Lyn and Lesely, is a parent.

Talking about raves is always difficult though. I don't want to live in an ultra conservative society that frowns on dancing and having fun but I don't like headlines that 27 people woke up in the hospital. I would NEVER allow my kids to go to one and if they were old enough to make that decision on their own I'd do everything I could to talk them out of it and, failing that, I'd wait outside in my car the whole night.

I want to have fun and I want our listeners to have fun but this is one of those topics that can end up really deviding our listeners. That makes sense since I'm devided on it too. I guess that would make it a good talk show topic.
