The final push of any election is always to try to get people out to vote. Happy citizens are often more apt to stay home, while those who want change make the effort. Even a heavy turn-out for an advance poll does not guarantee the same for voting day. All over the social media people are urging you to vote. One points out Hitler was elected, and says we should study the platforms first, and then vote responsibly. Some want the laws changed to make voting compulsory, like it is in Australia. They tout their system as truly showing the will of the electorate. Australians believe it’s your duty to vote the same as it is to be taxed, and say it leaves politicians free to campaign on the issues right to the end, without having to beg people to come out to the polls.
