What Security?

So, did your summer holidays include a flight somewhere? Did you have to take off your shoes for security and make sure you didn’t have too much toothpaste? We hear about people getting on planes without being checked, but we never hear about them catching a terrorist waiting to board. And now this: A man was on a jet ski in a bay near New York’s JFK airport. The watercraft broke down and he had a wet suit on, so he swam the three miles to shore. Then he walked across two runways, and climbed over an eight foot high security fence and into the terminal. But, wait a minute, that airport has a hundred million dollar security system. Closed circuit cameras didn’t pick him up and no fence alarms went off. It was only when a Delta employee saw him in the wet suit leaving puddles on the floor that the man was asked how he got in there. The airport is embarrassed; they’ve charged with him criminal trespass. He'll be in court October 2nd. They’re aldo questioning the security firm. They are now doing low-tech security with shore and water patrols. Get the coal-oil lanterns out. The terrorists are coming: One if by land and two if by sea. Let me know what you think.
