It must be tough to be a member of an opposition political party. They can stand in question period and display their self-righteous indignation to no avail. It might help if they spoke as calm, reasonable people. Their grandstanding just has the government and the public brushing them off. The calls I get about opposition rants often describe them as a bunch of whiners and poor losers. Some of their ideas are legitimate. I agree with the provincial opposition when they say the whistleblower legislation does not go far enough. By not allowing those who know where all the skeletons are buried to come forward with evidence now, it does appear they are not protecting the whistleblower, but shielding the government from the whistleblower.
