Here is an interesting story:
Pets are fun but they can also make you happier, healthier and better adjusted. Psychologists at Ohio’s Miami University focused on the impact of pet ownership on psychological health and physical fitness and came to an interesting conclusion. Study author Allen R. McConnell, Ph.D., said: “Specifically, pet owners had greater self esteem, were more physically fit, tended to be less lonely, were more extroverted, tended to be less fearful and tended to be less preoccupied than non-owners.”
