Edmonton police are calling for witnesses to come forward after what they describe as a potential hit-and-run Saturday morning near the Alberta Aviation Museum.
Officers were called to the area of Kingsway Avenue and Tower Road at around 12:30 a.m. after reports of a collision at a crosswalk there.
When officers arrived, members of Edmonton Fire Rescue Services were treating a 20-year-old woman. Police were told she was hit by a Chevrolet that fled the scene. The exact make is not known.
The major collision investigation unit has now taken over the investigation and is looking to speak to witnesses about the Chevrolet.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries
