Captain Thomas McQueen was from Hamilton and engaged to be married. Colonel Paul Doyle says McQueen’s energy and dedication made him a leader among his co-workers.
It was just after 11 a.m. Monday morning when the plane crashed in the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range, inside Saskatchewan. The Royal Canadian Air Force says military helicopter crews from 4 Wing emergency service, including 417 Combat Support Squadron, were dispatched to the area.
