It’s Friday, let’s see what’s on your mind.
As we watch U-S President-elect Donald Trump change directions, Ian emails to say Trump is yet another example of someone who gets elected more on image than substance. Ian says he also got elected because Hillary’s image was worse than his.
About U-S Vice President-elect Mike Pence getting booed on Broadway, at the Hamilton play, Graham says maybe he should have gone to Cabaret, instead.
Donald says the Pence incident was a minor happening inflated by the media to paint the new administration as intolerant.
About politics in general, Eugene observes we seem to have the politically correct left and the capitalist right and nothing in between.
About the death of a 4 year old girl in provincial care, Bill says, with the politicians holding an emergency meeting, it only shows they can talk the talk. We want to see them walk the walk.
John says if the province steps in and takes a child they are accused of breaking up a family. If they give the child to a relative, they are accused of child endangerment. He says they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
Let me know what you think about that and have a great week-end.
