I do not pretend to be a fan of rap, although I have done editorials rap style just for fun.
I see where Canadian rapper Drake is cancelling the rest of his tour because of an ankle injury.
I once fell off a stage and hurt my ankle.
I walked into my doctor’s office in great pain.
He examined me and said I had two choices. He could bind my ankle securely and I could walk on crutches for a couple of weeks, or he could give me acupuncture, and I would walk out of there with no pain.
How you seen how long an acupuncture needle is? It looked scary.
I lay on my stomach with my foot in the air and told him to let me know when he was going to stick it in so I could clench my teeth.
He told me it was already in. I told him the pain was still there.
He pushed it in a little further and then flicked it with his finger, and asked how the pain was now.
It was gone.
I sat up and then stood up. No pain.
Acupuncture was not covered under health care, but the doctor said, “No charge.” He’d rather call me as a witness when it came to asking for coverage.
I’ll bet Drake could pull a rap out of that,
I’m laid out flat,
The needle not fat
that put my feet back on the mat.
