The Eskimos have added some depth to their receiving corps with the signing of International Vidal Hazelton.
Hazelton played the better part of the last two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts. Last season he caught 70 passes for 803 yards which led the Argos, Hazelton scored six touchdowns.
This season in eight games Hazelton caught 27 passes for 361 yards and scored three touchdowns. He was released by the Argos back on October 3.
The Eskimos have won three straight games and sit in the crossover position in the Eastern Division but a win on Saturday against the B.C. Lions will move them into third place in the Western Division.
On the injury front offensive lineman Tony Washington and defensive back Brandyn Thompson didn’t practice today.
Washington suffered a leg injury on Thanksgiving Day against the Alouettes, Thompson left the game in the fourth quarter with an arm injury. Fullback Mike Miller did practice today after suffering a neck injury last Monday.
Kick-off from B.C. Place Stadium on Saturday is at 5pm, 630 CHED will have the pre-game show at 3:30pm.
