Wetaskiwin RCMP have laid a murder charge after a 2 year investigation.
It began on July 18th, 2014 after the body of 20-year-old Jessica Wyoma Lynn Boysis was found in a treed area behind a Wetaskiwin business.
She had gone missing 3 days earlier with a medical examiner concluding she met with foul play.
And the Mounties say they were finally able to piece together enough information to identify 38-year-old John Joseph William Profeit as her alleged killer.
He was arrested Friday, October 14, 2016 in Camrose and charged with 2nd degree murder.
Profeit, who is from Camrose, is to make his first court appearance in Wetaskiwin on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. (td/dac)
