Did you watch the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump?
He said beforehand that he was not rehearsing. He just wanted to be himself without seeming to be over-prepared.
Clinton had done just the opposite, taking days off to rehearse in a couple of ninety minute stretches, and it showed, although she did, at times, seem overly prepared.
Still, she was up and bright and smiling right to the end and ready with an answer for every jab he took.
He was up and forceful when making a point, but often looking down and unhappy.
Trump was clearly speaking to the working class, especially those whose workplaces were now industrial wastelands, their jobs exported to other countries.
He started out strong on the trade and jobs issue, but she was stronger on women’s issues and race.
In the beginning, the polls had them in a dead heat. In the end, I don’t know if supporters on either side changed their minds, and it may still be the undecided who decide this election.
Frederick and Sandi Facebooked before the debate to say they would not be watching. They said these two sad candidates were not worth their time.
If you did watch, tell me if it was worth your time.
