The Edmonton Eskimos is temporarily bringing on 64 new players for an event Saturday at the Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
Boston Pizza helped put the event together and BP Regional Marketing Manager for Western Canada Ryan Paulson says that all of the players are 13-year-old old or younger.

“You can imagine how excited they are to do something this cool. They get to meet some of their favourite Eskimo players and it’s just a really awesome thing where they do a formal contract signing and get to run around on the field and it’s really just one of those once in a lifetime opportunities,” says Paulson.
“We’re always looking at creative and awesome opportunities to provide interesting programs for families so this is obviously something that is a lot of fun that kids can do in the restaurant, just buy a kids meal and then they can have a chance to win this awesome prize.”
It was part of a contest run at Boston Pizza restaurants across northern Alberta.
The 64 kids got to watch the Edmonton Eskimos beat the B.C. Lions on Friday and hit the field Saturday for their event at 12:00pm. (djs)
