A member of Travis Vader’s defence team has taken to Twitter to announce they have filed a motion for a mistrial.
This comes exactly a week after Vader was convicted of two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann.

Last Friday Vader’s defence team filed an appeal notice.
The Crown had no comment after the appeal notice, and made the same statement Thursday after the mistrial motion.
Everybody will be in court on October 3, 2016. (bw)
