The Eskimos held their final practice on Friday as they get set to face the Saskatchewan Roughriders from Mosaic Stadium in Regina on Sunday.
The Eskimos will look to break a two-game losing streak which has them sitting in fourth place in the Western Division with a 5-6 record and chasing a playoff spot in the West and also in the Eastern Division through the crossover.
Head coach Jason Maas feels his team did a good job of flushing back to back losses the Calgary Stampeders and shifting their focus to the Riders.
John White didn’t practice again today so Shakir Bell will start at running back on Sunday. The Riders have been hit with a significant injury to receiver Naaman Roosevelt who won’t play on Sunday. Roosevelt is third in the CFL in receiving yards (1,095) behind the Eskimos Derel Walker and Adarius Bowman.
Kick-off on Sunday from Mosaic Stadium is 2:30pm. 630 CHED will have live coverage starting with the pre-game show at 1pm.
