Alberta Health Services has issued a boil water advisory for Stony Plain, Alberta.
AHS says it’s due to a water main break.
Residents are advised to boil water for a full minute before drinking the water, or using water to: brush teeth, rinse raw foods, make juice, ice, or baby formula, etc.
It’s recommended that hand sanitizer is used after hand-washing as well.
Water for bathing or washing clothes does not need to be boiled.
