A five year old is dead after a highway crash in northwestern Alberta. Manning RCMP say two SUV’s and a truck collided Monday afternoon on Highway 35, south of Paddle Prairie near Keg River.
Police believe the two SUV’s were heading south, when a northbound truck crossed into their lane.
A 35 year old Grande Prairie woman driving one of the SUV’s had serious injuries, a five year old girl with her was killed, and a 11 year old with them had minor injuries. A 70 year old man and a 65 year old woman from Medicine Hat in the other SUV had minor injuries.
A 31 year old Grande Prairie man in the truck was treated on the scene. The collision remains under investigation. (eb)
