The man accused of killing his wife and her daughter has been found guilty.
A judge has found Edward Chomiak guilty for the first-degree murder of his wife, Melody Perry and second degree murder of her daughter, 20-year old Jerica Bouchard.
Court heard he shot both of the women numerous times in their home near Fahler back in 2010.
Chomiak is expected to be sentenced tomorrow. The verdict carries a sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.
During the trial a tape of a 911 call was played in which Perry tells a dispatcher that Chomiak is in the house with a gun and had shot her daughter. (bw)
