Three alleged sexual assaults have led to charges against one man, and Edmonton police believe there may be other incidents they have yet to hear about.
In the first one, on April 1st, investigators say a 17-year-old girl left a downtown bar to attend an ‘after party’ at the suspect’s home, where she says she was sexually assaulted.
Just over two weeks later, on April 16th, a 22-year-old woman says she was also sexually assaulted at the suspect’s home, after arriving there from a downtown bar with some friends.
And, on July 6th, a 21-year-old woman says the same thing happened to her, after she arrived at the suspect’s home from a bar on Whyte Avenue.
The charges against Matthew McKnight, who is 29, include sexual assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of sexual assault, along with unlawful confinement.
Police are looking to hear from anyone else who thinks they were sexually assaulted by him. (td)
