When the Oilers debut inside of Rogers Place, it will be without the Oilers Octane cheer team.
In an online news release the Oilers say they’re, “looking for a new direction related to the fan experience, both in-game and in the community, as we head to Rogers Place for our inaugural season.”
The post goes on to say that details on changes to the fan experience are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Oilers Octane cheer team had been revving up fans inside of Rexall Place for six years, and had the distinction of being the first NHL cheer team in Canada.
