It’s Friday – let’s see what’s on your mind.
About burner phones, Donna Facebooks, “If you have nothing to hide, you don’t mind providing your ID.”
Michael Facebooks, “Freedom has its limits. To think otherwise is dangerous.”
About Northlands, although most people like K-days, I’m not hearing a lot of support for writing off the Expo loan or going in even deeper for Vision 2020, especially if city council wants to be re-elected.
Some want the city to run Northlands instead of the current management.
About Donald Trump, Michael writes to say that Trump made it this far, shows the stupidity of the Republican voter base, but Donald M says what it shows is that the media is losing the ability to manipulate the thinking of common people.
About changing the words to O Canada, Ruth is not writing about, “In all thy sons command” she’s telling us about her grandmother who came to Canada as a War Bride.
When she sang the national anthem she substituted, “our home and native land” with “our home and chosen land”.
She wanted to be singing what she believed. What a great way to end the week.
Let me know what you think and have a great week-end.
