The Eskimos are sliding a bit after they lost their second straight game last Thursday 30-23 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Head coach Jason Maas says the time off seemed to serve his team well as he felt his group looked fresh on the first day of the practice week.
The Eskimos received good news on the injury as receiver Nate Coehoorn practiced for the first time Monday since suffering a concussion nearly two weeks ago in practice. Coehoorn is expected to play on Saturday against the REDBLACKS, he currently is on the team’s six-game injured list but will likely be pulled off after missing just two games.
Also offensive lineman Matt O’Donnell missed practice on Monday, he’s been banged up lately but played in the last two games. Receiver Devon Bailey practiced for the first time since suffering a concussion early in training camp.
