Just before 9 p.m. Friday, Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for the areas of Didsbury, Carstairs, Stirlingville and Olds.
However, it has since been lifted.

A severe thunderstorm was being tracked, that could have produced a tornado. High winds, large hail and heavy rainfall were also possible. Doppler radar indicates a potential tornado started approximately 5 km east of Bergen and moved east at 15 km/h.
