The Edmonton Oilers are bringing back forward Iiro Pakarinen on a one-year deal.

Pakarinen, 24, registered 13 points (5G, 8A) in 63 games with the Oilers last season.
The Oilers also issued a qualifying offer to defenceman David Musil.
They chose not to qualify Adam Clendening, Luke Gazdic, Kale Kessey and goaltender Niklas Lundstrom. They will all become free agents.
