Ten years have passed since Feranando Pisani scored one of the biggest goals in the history of the Edmonton Oilers.

“It just seemed like time stood still and that whole play developed,” Pisani told me on Inside Sports on Tuesday night.
Pisani’s shorthanded goal in game five kept the Oilers alive, though they ultimately lost the Stanley Cup Final in seven games to Carolina.
The Oilers weren’t expected to do much going into the playoffs. Pisani explained how the team got rolling and nearly won it all:
