10 days of training camp are complete for the Eskimos and the grind is starting to take it’s toll on players.
Today at practice 16 players either didn’t practice or were not able to finish practice.
Those player are defensive back Pat Watkins, defensive tackle Almondo Sewell, safety Cauchy Muamba, defensive tackle Gregory Alexandre, receiver Devon Baily, offensive lineman Danny Groulx, defensive back John Ojo, fullback Mike Miller, safety Mike Dubuisson, fullback Mike Miller, linebacker Adam Konar, receiver Andrew Johnson, defensive back Terell Pinson, linebacker D.J. Lalama, defensive back Delon Belue, and linebacker Devin Arrington.
Head coach Jason Maas says what he’s seeing in training camp over the last 10 days is normal.
Running back John White did practice today after missing yesterday’s two sessions.
The Eskimos play their first pre-season game on Saturday night on the road against the Calgary Stampeders. Coach Maas says he would like starting quarterback Mike Reilly to play a series or two before giving playing time to his other three quarterback.
There will be just one session at Commonwealth Stadium tomorrow morning starting at 8:30.
Kick-off on Saturday night from McMahon Stadium in Calgary is 7pm, 630 CHED will have the pre-game show at 5:30pm.
