2,300 students from Jasper Place High School were evacuated Wednesday morning after a bomb threat.
Police cleared the school for reentry early that afternoon with officers telling students they could safely return classes.
Raquel Maurier with the Edmonton Public School Board says the school did what it was supposed to do.
“As a precautionary measure, students were evacuated to nearby St. Francis Xavier School,” Maurier said.
The bomb threat came in to the school around 10:00am that morning and police say they are still investigating. No suspects have been identified. (djs)
