It’s Friday – let’s see what’s on your mind.
About Fort McMurray having only one highway in and out, Sheila points out it’s the same situation in many other northern communities. Arlie points out that while Sheila is correct, the other communities are much smaller. He suggests an alternate escape route be built depending on size.
About speeding through construction zones, Max wants vehicles impounded for 30 days plus storage charges and a fine.
Fred says part of the problem is the contractors cry wolf, putting signs up well before the construction starts and leaving them up, long after.
Ian says put photo radar at every construction site. In this instance, he would gladly condone having the idiots pay for their own stupidity.
About doctor-assisted dying, John says it’s like no lives matter anymore.
Graham says he won’t let his own beliefs interfere with another person’s wishes.
And, about Prime Minister Trudeau’s trouble in the Commons, Bill says, “It’s almost like watching soccer. One touch and they are down. Give Justin a yellow card or send him to the box for two minutes.”
Let me know what you think, and keep dry this week-end.
