Residents in the Fort McMurray area have been asked to grab their belongings and evacuate their homes as a wildfire continues to burn out of control in the area.
The order came in just before 10pm Sunday night for residents of Centennial Park, south of Airport Road, as well as Prairie Creek and Gregoire.
About 50 firefighters from the Municipality of Wood Buffalo are on the scene tackling the blaze which has already scorched 120 hectares of forest.
There is also four air tankers along with four helicopters helping to fight the fire from the sky.
A reception centre has been set up at Macdonald Island. Officials will be on site to help residents and their pets.
