It’s Friday, let’s see what’s on your mind.
About the continuing noise complaints, Garry hopes they target loud motorbikes and cars and stereos. Eugene says a high density city is bound to be noisy, if you want quiet, move to the suburbs. Thomas says part of the problem is the city writes laws without thinking how they are going to enforce them.
About terrorists who kidnap and murder their victims, some say we need an elite force to go in and free them, others wonder why we don’t prod the host country to get their soldiers on the job.
About avoiding fossil fuels and supposedly saving the planet, Donald says it’s a perfect example of how if you say something often enough and loud enough, people will begin to believe it. He points out 36 million people in Canada depend on fossil fuels.
Dave believes if they could find a way to tax us for the pipelines, work would begin tomorrow.
And Lorne says the only oil Ottawa likes now is hash oil. He wonders if marijuana tax money will help Canada’s economy or if it’s just another pipe dream.
Let me know what you think and have a great weekend.
